Stu reviewed Learning Requirements document based on XPrize guidelines. Next step suggested to identify best matching content which would satisfy individual criteria for EGRA & EGMA. We may potentially make this into a community project and crowdsource large scale content validation if the rubric will be simple enough to understand. There may be a benefit of breaking down individual EGRA/EGMA criteria into more simple digestible components. We can approach content selection by assessing and filtering through a large set of existing educational apps (1K+)
Current content landscape seems to indicate the need for a large push towards content authoring / partnership approach. How do we create a model for large scale collaborative content authoring Research is needed on available Open Source authoring tools. Another potential is to translate best English literacy apps to Swahili. How can we motivate local teachers to produce content?
- Potential of using Moodle as both an authoring tools and an offline LMS.
